Automatic match search in GvG needs to be fixed!
My guild has a rank of 426! Our last match was against Rome Army which has a rank of 49!! How are they worthy opponents? The match before that we were set against a guild that isn´t in the ladder right now!
These search function is broken und should be fixed!

Agreed, however, the best solution is simply to have more guilds playing. I know I've personally seen to it that several guilds have lost their first battle. This sort of thing wouldn't happen if more guilds played and the range to find an opponent was lowered.

Its true, and 2nd team we faced was good europe team, I forgot what its called, but they got lucky. I have guild ranking 6704 and nobody wants to practice unrated match with us because we have such a bad rating . Its only 2 loss lol, gimme break.

I honestly don't understand why this is such an issue... Having the opportunity, as a worse ranked guild, to face a guild much better rated than yourself is nothing but a positive experience. This gives you the opportunity to observe the build, tactics, and organization of a highly skilled team, and should be viewed as such. the insight and experience gained in such a scenario is easily worth the minor drop in ladder position. Observing highly skilled teams in action is an integral part of becoming a highly skilled team yourself.

Perhaps, but I think you learn more by fights where you actually have a chance. Many of these folks have no idea what hit 'em. On the flip side, its not all that much fun pwning first timers either.

This would be of greater benefit if there was a play-by-play scorecard for each match. (Anet, listen up)

Absolutely correct! I do not learn anything by losing in 2 minutes! It in fact says "Looking for a worthy opponent"! How is a guild that is ranked more than 350 ranks above you a "Worthy opponent"? How many guilds exist? How come that Rome Army was the only guild looking for a guild fight at that time? Were they the only guild? Wouldn´t it be better to increase the number of guild, so that you actually fight guild that are near you in ranks?
